That’s today-clear, blue skies with an agreeable wind, enough to rustle the leaves but not your hair. It’s cool this morning, but the Florida sun will keep its promise to heat the afternoon hours. The birds are singing. It’s just a day to come and go, one of work, plans and maybe rest. I spot a shiny penny on the ground, pick it up and slip it into my pocket- that’s my custom. Maybe, I do this for luck, or to prove I’m paying attention, or maybe it reminds me of my mom’s words: waste not; want not. Thing is, ninety-eight years ago, October 12th, 1918, on a day that was much like today, normal, soft, promising, my mom was born.

Her Brazilian birth certificate became an issue for my mom when she was in her forties. She’d been born in Recife, Brazil, on a mission-think of a small  building with white, plastered walls, open, sparsely decorate halls with little furniture, and windows that were not covered but open to allow the cooling sea breeze to flow through the dwelling along with any number of flying bugs or crawling snakes. Her Baptist missionary parents had little money, just faith.

When the doctor arrived to deliver mom he came prepared to record by hand the entire event as a solemn witness to the authenticity of her birth. I’ve read the translation of this birth certificate, the one mom needed to show before she could become a teacher, something, I don’t quite remember-I was young, once. Anyway, the document started like this blog has, with a complete description of the day, the morning, the breeze, the temperature and the mood of the people who’d gathered to wait for my mom to arrive-even the birds were singing. The whole thing struck me when I first read the writing. To think, the kind of day it was, not just the date, time and sex mattered. No, first and foremost the doctor thought the day’s nature was important to note. I guess that’s being in touch with the environment and believing that it and everything else about the day a person was born mattered.

Now, I think it did. My mom was always like that day. Soft, mild, never a taker but giver, a person easy to see, to be around. Her company was a joyful gift.

Dad married a 'Looker.'

Dad married a ‘Looker.’

Her smile could shame the sun; her hair, naturally blonde until almost age fifty, glimmered in the sunlight and framed her laughing eyes.

Mom had an artist flair....a painter and musican-

She had a special look.

She had a special look.

Of course, she was my bridge to life.

Of course, she was my bridge to life.

I knew i was in luck the day she brought me home.

I knew I was in luck the day she brought me home.

She made music like the birds, playing piano with a perfect pitch and had no need for musical notations; she sparked up every gathering by pumping her pearl overlaid accordion creating sounds that made even tired feet dance.

My mom was a miracle in so many ways. She went to college at fourteen here in the states and graduated campus queen at age eighteen. I’ve an early memory of stepping through the clover and receiving a bee sting on my bare foot. She sat me on top of the newfangled gadget-the washing machine- and that’s when I  blurted out, “Mom, you’re pretty.” How hard she laughed then. My friends had been talking; not only did my pals enjoy the freedom and food my house offered them as kids, they’d noticed her hair, too.

It’s been wonderful to know mom’s family…

The good years pass like a morning does in a day. One day, not like today, I became a man who had to help my mom move beyond being old to more. That was a bitter day, now over six years ago. Still, as the cardinals flutter to our bird feeder and my dog jumps up one too many times, I’m forever thankful for that day of so long ago. The doctor was right about that day-it was a perfect day. Mom has been such a blessing in my life I couldn’t live long enough to write it all down so you would know.

Whether it’s the wind that comes and goes without warning or the geese that flew over head this morning in the early daylight, chattering from high above with a noise so uniquely theirs, I don’t know. But for this time, this day, it’s all about mom for me, and I wanted you to know. I did pick up that penny when she had me.

Mom, 1918-2011. Those were good years.

This is  my birthday weekend, so I spent today spreading red mulch that’s guaranteed to keep its color for 12 months or 12 days, whichever comes first.  It seems I’m always doing some sort of yard work on the days leading up to Memorial Day. Thing is, I love the work-gardening, squashing bugs, planting flowers that will need more water, mowing, trimming fence lines, hauling piles of debris to the front for collection, spookin’ snakes and still not losing weight. Well there’s nothing new these days.

I worked on.

It’s time to open up our pool, 60 days after we started using it, and it’s all very HUGE. The jungle in Florida has a way of either being cut back or eating people-so I cut. And while I toil, I always think of my Dad. He was a Full Colonel. I think of all those who have fallen during time of war and wish none of it was true. “War! Good G-D y’all. What’s it good for?” That’s what my generation sang. The tune went very well with wine and a pocket full of joints.

Of course, there are way too many flowers being left on graveyards this weekend.

For or against, war seems a necessary evil of our time,,,no wait, for all of Man’s history. So, as I work in the yard, enjoying the chickadee, the Cardinal and Red Tail Hawk above, I’m thankful for their music that helps me forget the horror of life, and remember the beauty. I bow my head and pray for all those who gave their lives in battle as I shovel, plant, pick, spread or cultivate my yard knowing , right or wrong, it’s safe to believe the soldiers who died in battle believed they were fighting and, sometimes, dying for us. The saying is- they died to keep us free.

Flowers have a way of reminding us  how short and sweet life can be.

So it seems Memorial Day always finding me messing with flowers, or trying to enhance the small area of the earth I own. Today, the wind blew, thoughts of Dad and other soldiers I know crossed my mind. President Obama praying at Hiroshima rattle my head, and I worked.  The day, the month, the memories will pass, but it all remains tied together no matter what we do. In the end, the more a person does to encourage growth and the beauty of life the better they sleep at night-it’s called inner peace.

Here’s  my synopsis of the Republican party candidates to this point.

If Trump were to meet the Chinese over international policy, he’d walk out with a signed negotiated deal, the table and all the chairs in the room, plus a life time pass to re-visit when he liked pro bono. Jeb Bush would walk out with a sore ass and no agreement, and all the others would suffer from gag reflux for the rest of their lives….
DCF 1.0

Trump’s the Leader of the PAC….

ON a brighter note for the Republican politicians at this point there’s an old saying-sometimes, dicks come in handy. The party seems to have a wad of them. It did seem last night that the Republican candidates-but for Trump and one other- were afraid of their own shadow, afraid to say the wrong thing, always well framed by party agenda with little get-up-and-go guts.
Oh, the things I might say....

Oh, the things I might say….

But what about that one other candidate? It’s all about the gal running for the ticket.
Chair of the American Conservative Union Foundation and former CEO of Hewlett-Packard Carly Fiorina speaks at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Oxon Hill, Maryland, March 8, 2014. CPAC closes after 3 days where thousands of conservative activists, Republicans and Tea Party Patriots gathered to hear politicians, presidential hopefuls, and business leaders speak, lobby and network for a conservative agenda, looking to Congressional gains in 2014 and a Republican president in 2016. REUTERS/Mike Theiler (UNITED STATES - Tags: POLITICS) - RTR3G9EM

She can make a ;point-but I hate the ones she makes….

I  liked Carly Fiorina, sorta-not really.  That is, she was well spoken, and seemed knowledgeable…i.e.= no chance, and that’s the good news.  Thing is, I’m opposed to everything she stands by…here’s a run down on her points: “She opposes abortion, is critical of fears over climate change, and worries that proposed efforts to limit greenhouse gas emissions – particularly the controversial “cap and trade” system – would be prohibitively costly in the amount of jobs that stand to be lost. She has stated that she herself voted for a measure in California to legally define marriage as a heterosexual union between one man and one woman, a measure which passed at the ballot box but was subsequently ruled unconstitutional by a federal court.”
Her talking points have sailed on-out with the tide from American shores.

Fiorina’s  talking points have sailed on-out with the tide from American shores.

See? She’s not my kind of gal at all. I’m for women’s right to choose, at least up to a point; I think green house emissions have to be regulated, sharply reduced; And we should leave the gays, etc. alone. What matter is it to me if gays want to call themselves legally married? It doesn’t interfere with my marriage. And, if a person has a well-defined opinion about god and his judgment, as I suspect most people who stand against gay marriage do, then they should take comfort in the belief that there will be a final judgement. They should realize that America, with 70% of adults professing to be Christian, is hardly in danger of suffering a fate akin to Sodom and Gomorrah. Nah, Fiorina, for all her well dressed words, is not in the ball park of reason-not in my mind.
Is it just me, or does our Republican party have a propensity for putting forth wack-o women who wear short skirts?

Is it just me, or does our Republican party have a propensity for putting forth wack-o women who wear short skirts?

So there you have it. The Republican party has a business man blow hard leading the pack, and he’s the last one Id’ like to have to debate of the group. Still,  “They call me Jeb in Florida,” Bush seems the likely pick.

If you've ever been in film, or TV ads, you'd know this photo took work---chin up, lighting all around, but the nose shadow is still a bit off.

If you’ve ever been in film, or TV ads, you’d know this photo took work—chin up, lighting all around, but the nose shadow is still a bit off.

Regardless of who runs on either ticket,,,I think these two could make a third party ticket that might make a run for the money…..this link is a must see if you haven’t.
Trump is on first.....

Turns out, Trump is on first…..

What e-mails?

What e-mails?

One last thought- Hillary may have written herself off her sides ticket, but there’s something  nagging me about those personal e-mails she sent.  Why? Why would an intelligent, savvy person, one who’s well schooled in politics. use her personal e-mail account instead of her government e-mail?  Could it be she didn’t trust the government e-mail site she had? That seems to be a logical conclusion, and one she’d never be able to discuss with the American people….
-there’s so much more to come.

I’ve two books published on kindle- Avatar magic, and The code of Avatar Magic….I do hope you’ll read them…cheers.

But, maybe not long enough. Long haired freaks, lunatics, insomniacs, heavy drinkers(with cause) and intelligent people have all been shouting the truth since the 1980’s: America has lost its Democracy. Now, Jimmy Carter recites the writing on the wall:

“It(the 2010 Citizens United decision and the 2014 McCutcheon decision, both decisions by the five Republican judges on the U.S. Supreme Court.) violate(s) the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or being elected president. And the same thing applies to governors, and U.S. Senators and congress members. So, now we’ve just seen a subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect, and sometimes get, favors for themselves after the election is over. … At the present time the incumbents, Democrats and Republicans, look upon this unlimited money as a great benefit to themselves. Somebody that is already in Congress has a great deal more to sell.”*Jimmy Carter, July 28th, 2015.

Leave it to a peanut farmer to crack the nutty truth so we all understand.

We herd without listening......

We ‘herd’ without listening……

Truthfully, the idea that unlimited, as well as secret, monies should be contributed to political campaigns is not so difficult to diagnosis. It’s a shameful sleight-of-hand stint, a death spear sent into the heart of Democracy, a mockery of American Justice and its electoral process. The smoke screen used to bolster the dumb-ass opinion that foreign despots should be able to donate to American elections because American Unions could donate to campaigns is just stupid. Ignorant butt heads who have business interests and even foreign nations contribute to our National Elections-should they be allowed to control our elections?  These people in mass who support this idea- including the five Republican Supreme Court judges- are a special kind of ignoramus. A rare breed of people hell-bent on destroying American Democracy.

American's must find a way out from this disastrous Court ruling...

American’s must find a way out from under this disastrous Court ruling…

Don’t be fooled by the title, Supreme Court Justice. These five Justices who voted for Citizens United( code for handing over US Elections to well-moneyed interests world-wide) and the McCutcheon decision are powerful corrupt individuals of the worst kind. The security, happiness and prosperity of the American people are the last interests these five court jesters represent. They are nothing more than scoundrels in robes who should be defrocked of their power.

Justice Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scallea picture here after a night out celerbrating...

Justice Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scallea(this piece was written before his passing) pictured here after a night out celebrating…

What can be done to America’s electoral process when it spends 1.7 billion dollars on one presidential race? Very little, that seems to be the answer. And, mind you, America’s Presidential race stretches to almost time ad infinitum while the U.K. election held this past May lasted thirty days and no more than 33 million was allowed to be spent.

The national election in the U.K. should be a wake-up call to Americans.

Leadership to what, that's the question......

Leadership to what, that’s the question……

The good news, maybe, is that money doesn’t count as votes. The bad news question is about how votes are now tabulated in America. Diebold hackers and computer IT experts testified before a Senate committee that the actual votes recorded by Diebold machines could be manipulated from several blocks away, or manually altered by voters right at the booth within minutes.**(You can watch and hear the testimony..)Or, you can read more…***

America has foreign interests and secret super PAC’S funding its elections that take place on tabulating machines not worth a hoot. The jig is rigged and the joint stinks. It could well be the entire world is run by rulers who collaborate to maintain power at all costs, regardless of elections, the will of the people or political fallout. Think not? Read these  articles linked to below or others about the subject.

The freedom train has been derailed in America by a series of bad Supreme Court jack-ass decisions, and by greedy, corrupt people-politicians and business men alike. Write your representatives. Who knows, there may still be some honest men or women among them who might listen to our plea.

When I think about all this election muck America’s in, I keep hearing the voice of my Grandfather, Leslie Johnson, a man who was a Baptist preacher and missionary for over fifty years. I can hear him saying as he bows his head at the dinner table, “Time to pray.” America, it is.

Some say you’ve done a lot of good during your terms as President, others not so much. But, you are letting the world down now. Drilling in the Arctic has to be the worst possible scenario in terms of environmental conservation, and pointless to boot.* Of course, As President, you know the ins and outs of drilling in the Arctic, that the arctic gas and oil fields are the largest left on earth, but they also reside where cleanup is impossible, human response time to disasters slow, and economically and culturally important species will be put at risk by drilling.

It’s simply not true that America needs to process the Arctic waters for oil production. It’s simply not true that drilling in the arctic ocean will help secure American’s future, or make a difference in our over all supply and demand of oil. The entire world is turning toward solar power development, and wind and water power-alternative energy. Why enforce a bad decision now and lead America away from the future?

The gain is little and the risk of environmental damage high.

Even America’s own watch dog agency ,The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, stated that there was an 75% chance that the world will suffer an environmental disaster brought on by off shore Arctic drilling. And, there’s more- “The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management released the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Lease Sale 193 in the Chukchi Sea in Northwest Alaska. The federal government unlawfully sold the oil and gas lease to oil companies, including Shell, in 2008 when it underestimated the risks of a large oil spill. The revised analysis found a 75 percent chance that one or more large oil spills could occur and that many species of marine wildlife would face substantial injury and mortality in the face of an oil spill. Despite these risks, the federal government is prepared to offer 29.4 million acres, the entire Chukchi Sea Program Area, for oil and gas development. – See more at: http://www.foe.org/news/news-releases/2015-02-chukchi-lease-analysis-predicts-large-arctic-oil-spills#sthash.p2xhmDzG.dpuf. Why then, Mr. President, are you willing to risk so much for so little?

Why would you risk so much.....

Why would you risk so much…..

Mr. President, if you closed your eyes today and envisioned the 400,000 people who attended your first inauguration, you’d see a huge crowd of cheering people. Thing is, you’d also be hard pressed to find one among that crowd who supports your decision to drill in the Arctic. How can you turn your back on the very people who gave birth to your power?

Money can’t be enough. We all know the situation is tenuous between the terrorists, Isis, and American’s need to remain as independent as possible from the rich oil-producing countries, but making huge environmental mistakes in this day and age is not a show of force, but folly.

Short term, risky goals and solutions will usher in nothing but old and new problems soon enough.

Mr. President, I’m asking, as so many, that you stand back from an earlier decision you made to allow drilling in the Arctic. I’m asking you to hear the hearts and minds of those who voted you into office, that you turn away from fear, from the what if’s and what could be, and see what is. There’s an urgent call from your supporters for you to stop the Shell arctic drilling that is currently in motion. You can do this.

Life as we know it and our environment are so much more important than any speculative policy decision. You have to stand up for us and do what we know is right.

Okay, let’s get down to it. Mother’s Day is really about Mom’s Incredible Expanding Center.

Twelve basketballs later, this mom was still eating!

Twelve basketballs later, this mom was still eating!

Women have this thing going on that can’t be normal. It’s called nature, but  I say it’s all freaky. There isn’t a guy on the planet that ever plans on expanding to twice their size to deliver-not gonna happen. Here’s why-it ain’t normal.

That’s right.  Somewhere way back during evolution Mother Nature got it wrong and decided children should be born.

Children grown on trees is a much better idea.

Random idea for this post:

Huge pegs don't fit thru small holes......

Huge pegs aren’t meant to go thru small holes……

See below? There’s a large glob of baby that’s hoping to fit through a small opening….

Look at the phyisics...nothing is working.

Look at the physics…nothing is working.

Heck, just ask any mom how that birthing process goes pain wise and you’ll know it’s all wrong. And what ever happened to the pleasure-pain principle of running or staying put!?!? You’d think women would never sleep after all this birthing history, at least not in beds. No, if evolution held true, women would all be track stars or astronauts by now. (Remember , there are also twins, heck even six-packs of newborn siblings come along sometimes).

Eons of not learning.

Eons of not learning.

It’s important to tell a pregnant woman how nice she looks, since everyone knows people were never meant to resemble bowling balls with feet.

“You look lovely.”

“Oh, thank you.”

“Just how many of you are there, anyway?” Asked no living guy.

There’s usually about fifty pounds of an expectant mother you just can’t miss. But it’s okay-very weird-if women want to be three times the size of any other living person. Whatever—this expand-o-max routine works especially well in plane seats, movie theaters, narrow hallways, cars and couches. Nature has it all planned, for elephants. Thing is, there’s an idea or two missing when it comes to women giving birth.

For one, everyone knows babies need nourishment but Nature has that screwed up for people, too…

Eat up mom!

Eat up mom!

Who ever said size doesn’t matter never gave birth or had to walk around a pregnant woman.

Try to stay off your feet until after the baby's born.

I keep thinking about those things society used to use called phone booths. “I’ve got to call the hospital; the baby’s coming!” How did that work?

It’s all a bit screwy. Other animals have this  worked out-they give birth to small things that triple in size almost over night once they’re down and out the shoot. Not people. No, people like to give birth to babies with huge heads, and that part comes out first! “Perfect!”, said no mother during delivery.

All this should be happening on a children tree.

All this should be happening on a children tree.

People, every one of us, are freaks of nature. Maybe, that’s the problem with Mankind. God, or the Gods, placed bets that none of us would ever happen. When we did, they just threw up their hands and began to drink heavily.

I guess we’re all miracles, and most of all-Mother’s.

I hope you have a huge, Happy Mother’s Day.

As I see it, no one remembers him, only the booze, the drunken swagger, and slow drawl that crept out from beneath his handle bar mustache. They remember him old, defeated, not so much more than a has been from a more than forgotten time.  Thing is, that time was our time.

We laughed together as kids maybe more than you ever will. That’s a fact I can’t prove but the words speak for themselves. Things got exciting when Grady came to the lake. We were young- there were a million boats to ride and hillsides to climb. Later on, when we got cool, there’d be booze, of course, but much more humor. Ideas would flow between us as my cousins, Robin and David, gazed with Grady and I at star light or the flickering flames of a fire that needed one more log. The heat from our fires back then was unreal, and it always dispelled any notion we might have had that good times could ever end, that things could ever change, and even be forgotten. Grady had the spark we’d  waited to see all day though few who are alive today could ever believe it, certainly never know it, or think that possible-he was a drunk. I suspect that’s what people will say, or think now.

Like my cousin Robin, or David, who bowed down to the power of booze, Grady was no different, but for his name, his life, and his spirit. Thing is, anyone who only reads the last chapters of a book and then claims to know what the entire story was about is wrong. Grady’s ending belies his life, a life attested to by so much that still stands today by our lake house,or, actually, inside it as well. His life stands inside my heart, too. You see, more than the painfully perfect rocks walls that Grady built along the road way to our camp, and those rock walls are a challenge to any who ever built one to try a do better, the dry wall of our camp loft and more were meticulously done by Grady. Forty-five years later, not a seam of tape is showing in those joints, and the fittings have always been perfect.

Grady, I owe you. Not just because my parents loved you so dearly, but because you gave so much when you could.

It gets down to this: I loved this guy. I loved hearing his unique voice, a raspy, deep woodmen’s sounding one, and the twinkle in his eye. When he spoke, people listened; and when he laughed the world did too. His rock walls at the lake will always be wonderful to see, a fond remembrance. Of course, only my cousin,Robin, may have drunk more, I don’t know. My cousin David may have taken a close third place. All are gone now. That is painful, but what really matters to me is that I will miss all three, and often hear their voices, their laughter, in the wind as it comes off the lake.

We had it all for a moment as we grew up together during our summer time spent at the lake camps-we were so young, and it was so much fun. Sunlight glimmered just for us.

Grady, I may be one of few who know how much you did for my parents, and for the beauty of the East Shore road up at Bonaparte. I may be one of the few left who remember you as a kid, with eyes shining bright and laughter so light. Thing is, I want you to know-I miss you already. You were honest, a friend during the years I wish I had back. I’d guess, most anyone who really knows you feels the same.

Goodbye Grady. I wish I could see you again. We’ll have to wait and see about that. We always wondered what would happen. Sometime, when I pass, we’ll know.

Franque23-

Dear God, be thy man or woman-I’m so over that-please hear my cry over the broccoli picking-it’s gotten completely out of hand, or in my hand depending upon how you look at it.

I need help---

I need help—

I need your help to keep me from picking, picking, picking last years crop of Broccoli so that they may flower, and be done with completely. And thank you for the African coffee, too.

this is the start of the problem

this is the start of the problem

But the Broccoli plants look so healthy, it’s hard to allow them to pass. But this is not to say I’d like our neighbors to pick this crop-those people you could shoot before they shoot themselves IF that is what’s to happen, or IF they intend on picking my last broccoli-that’s your call.

I don't want to keep picking

I don’t want to keep picking

Surely, you know these plants need to flower as this is within the design of the earthly paradise. Thing is, now hear me out, please, I’m not complaining, but merely stating that I’ve a buddy who loves broccoli, who watches me closely so that he knows when I approach the broccoli, and he wants me to pick it…and allow him to eat all that I pick.

but someone keeps leaning on me

but someone keeps leaning on me-and he has big teeth!

Or , sitting on me…….

There's so much to be thankful for....

There’s so much to be thankful for….

Of course, I’m thankful for, well. everything, even the neighbors (on a good day.)

Thank you for the Valencia’s that are not ten thousand feet above ground.

Our red Camellia still blooms

I’ve decided to sit in this chair until the broccoli blooms-thank you for that wisdom. Over and out-Amen.

Franque23, may let the broccoli flower.b

And oh, PS….I know I should know what these are since I planted them only a week ago…but my mind does get weary, and if you ask me, they look a bit like Broccoli, though why then would I have planted them in such a clump? Please let someone, like from the Gainesville growing group, tell me what they are…..

I forget?

I forget?

Tooth brushes don’t brush teeth–people do.

Anyway this whole ruckus about the Right to Bear Arms is a simple misunderstanding.

These are the arms our Founding Father's were talking about.

These are the arms our Founding Father’s were talking about.

You have to get into the mind-set of the people who wrote that phrase-then interpreting the phrase comes easily. More, our tough-as-nails Forefather’s also meant these arms-

They were all about strength of will, courage and fortitude.

They were all about strength of will, courage and fortitude.

But, as usual in America, there’s a debate about this issue. Some say, intelligentsia four eyes insist, that the problem we’re having today about murderous people with innocent guns was brought about by a simple spelling mistake….

Our forefather's felt it each person's right to bare their arms...

Our Forefather’s felt it was each person’s right to bare their arms…they were, after all, roll up your sleeves and get the job done kind of folks.

They didn’t give a squat about totting around heavy weapons….as if.

Remember-our Founding Fathers were visionaries.

Remember-our Founding Fathers were visionaries.

images (23) images (23)Here’s the idea. Maybe, two ideas. We could expand the right to bare arms….

(Picture, or google , a nude beach in Europe…and no, I can’t post that here. Thing is, those Europeans knew what our Forefather’s were talkin’ about, and got it right the first time!)

And bar arms in bars…..

Drinking and shooting people don't mix...just ask Dick Chaney.

Drinking and shooting people don’t mix…just ask Dick Cheney.*

So yeah, no, guns have little to do with the issue.

Likewise,  poisoned food is not a problem,  it’s the loony’s who make it, or serve it, or spread it out by the billion tons who cause the problem. Root those nasty’s out, or educated them so they’ll give up making fortunes, and we’ll be left with nothing but a few gazillion mountains of chemicals.  We can dump all of this in the ocean or put it in the same holes we use to store Nuclear waste!

Nuclear waste is not a problem–people just don’t know how to handle the 81 million tons of highly radioactive waste nuclear power plants generate world-wide per year.

Just don't lie in the stuff...follow directions...

Just don’t lie in the stuff…follow directions…

(See? I’m learning!)If people could only be trained about nuclear waste, educated, then the toxic stuff would become harmless-as safe as a purring kitten.

Fukushima is still purring.

Fukushima is still purring.

Of course, it all follows that guns don’t kill people–people do. Shoot, here in the U.S. only 10,000 children per year go to the ER suffering from gunshot wounds! Better yet, only 3,000 of those children die per year from their injuries. If we just educated that three-year old how to properly hold a gun, things would turn up roses in Gunville of America.

Thing is, some people don’t think education will stop people from using tooth brushes on their teeth. Some say, getting A’s in class won’t make poison less lethal, nuclear waste a good companion or guns friendly in the hands of people. Take this downer of a guy, Daniel Webster, as an example.

“Daniel Webster, the director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research, told NBC News. “We have an extraordinary health burden in our youth associated with firearms injuries.” Webster pointed out that the United States’ rate of mortality from firearms is about ten times higher than the rates in other wealthy Nations.”http://thinkprogress.org/health/2014/01/27/3206581/kids-gun-violence-killed-injuries/

Look, America’s a free country, and if I want fifteen loaded Uzi  in my pantry, twelve thousand pounds of leaking poisons in my garage, really big tooth brushes and a stock pile of nuclear waste in my backyard I should be allowed to have it! And, if some God Fearing company wants to frack my land until my drinking water rots my teeth-I don’t want some big government fella complaining about that-this is a free, open, no holds barred economy.

this saves on hot water bills , too.

Fracking saves people money on their hot water bills , too.

No holds bared and the right to bare arms are both easy to grasp.

No holds barred and the right to bare arms are both easy concepts to grasp. What in the freakin’ heck happened?!?!

Heck, it’s all about education. Even a dumb-ol’ bear knows that!

Bye-bye and may your guns always be loaded and your home fires burning....

Bye-bye

May your guns always be loaded, and your home fires keep burning….

If I remember right, God said to go forth and multiply your gun collection until the earth tilts….or was that, gum collection-I forget.

*Our then Vice president, Dick Cheney, of these US of A gun loving land shot a fellow hunting pal while on the prowl for game….he wouldn’t see investigators for 24 hours. Rumor is Dickie was toasted, liquored up, howling at the moon, dead topsy drunk at the time of the accidental shooting.
