Trump effectively won the election by convincing Americans that our country had become the worst thing since rotten apples. Thing is, if today’s successful women’s march on Washington doesn’t end up creating change it will most likely be due to one reason: people are basically too comfortable living to keep up the hard work it will take to force change.

See? It’s a time of weird dynamics, an ill-shaped trapezoid of varying dichotomies festers within American society-inside the heads of American voters. Collectively we drop 90 million at the box office and complain about the price of bread after enjoying the show.

Trump recognized the beast that is our society, grabbed the reins and is now gonna lead us to where ever the hell we are going.  Trump is no moderate. He may be insane, some have claimed it, but he’s no dummy. There have been lunatics in world history, leaders, who didn’t digest power well. How will Trump do? I imagine the plethora of American power upon Trump’s plate. The congress are his servers; Americans his workers. Who will he tip, retain or shaft?

It seems ‘wine-and-dine’ is key when it comes to surviving Trump’s moods.

Those who donated generously to Trump’s campaign efforts are being rewarded with high paying prestigious appointments. The government contracts and financial awards to come may mostly go unnoticed as they pass beneath the table, but they will happen as well.  Mexico will never pay for any part of an American built wall but a relative of a relative or business partner of Trump’s will make out like a bandit building it. They will deposit our tax dollars.border As it stands now, people play volleyball over the Mexican/US boarder fence.

Trump rose to power by raking the imagination of less fortunate  workers with mind twisting lingo, ‘I could shoot someone and my followers would still love me,’ and by opening their closets so full of demons, hate, prejudice, notions of white power and abusive attitudes toward women and minorities in general.  NAFTA, a notion first brought to America’s attention by Ronald Reagan in a televised speech so long ago, has helped fuel the downturn plight of American workers-this and other business dealings have withered the spirits of American workers and enabled them to be set aflame by the biting rhetoric of Trump, the likes of which America has never heard before, not in its entirety, not as such a wide sweeping rout of long-held American ideals. (“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”)

For now, the die is cast for America. The color seems white; the room divvied up by what is hated most. Trump’s call for American loyalty may be a battle cry of a contest that will be held among ourselves.

We just don’t know about Trump’s Presidency, yet. His appointments look bad to anyone who isn’t rich or making a buck digging the earth. Still, Trump has that amazing opportunity to turn on a dime and send America into an economic boom by pushing huge solar power contracts and building the infrastructure needed to make this power source feasible. America certainly needs work done on its roads, bridges and dams; there are huge employment opportunities waiting. Will he punch those buttons, or keep asking his cronies in congress to bring him more wine?

Trump the multi-millionaire appoints other millionaires to run his administration. I wonder how the cowboy who rides in a saddle that needs replacing feels about that? A lot of underemployed or non-working Americans put Trump in office. In turn, you me and every other hard-working American can rest assured that Trump will be making billions for his businesses while in office.

As a protest, the Right, Alt-Right and others have elected the same old, same old. Many of those who voted for Trump are seeing this now. Great. NOT! I suspect many will have to put-off buying new tires for their truck this year or, maybe, for four years. Five hundred thousand American marchers went to Washington D.C. today because they see a possible train wreck that is Donald Trump coming. People marched today all over the world for Humanitarian rights. But are these marchers merely waving signs and flags in front of a charging bull? Time will tell.*

I worry. I do worry for Trump’s safety.

“He can blow me!” I’ve heard it said.

“I love the man.” I’ve seen it written.

“Make America great again!” Everyone heard the call that was confusing to some, but it rallied voters.

Thing is, Trump’s successful romp through bankruptcies,  scores of litigation, forthright allegations of sexual abuse and a new world’s record of flip-flops, no wait, of merely not making any position he has clear but that he’d build a wall that Mexico would pay for (except we would pay for it), is a montage of miraculous wonderment.  WTH?!?!

There are few groups left Trump hasn’t lambasted, outed in tweeter rants or belittled. Muslims love the guy, right? China is excited about his position on Taiwan. Some Mexican’s might love to have the guy for dinner-literally. The disabled feel ridiculed-did a man running for President actually imitate a disabled person while on stage?-and women may have to stop wearing skirts when he’s in the room. Of course, with the NRA in America and world-wide wholesale weapon sales, a few of these groups may have guns. Right?

There’s a right and wrong way to get what you want in America-ask Bonnie and Clyde. Trump needs to understand this basic principle.

Working within the system is important.

Working within the system is important.

Then again, it takes guts to right a wrong as the first woman to run in the Boston Marathon found out.

Men attacked the first woman to run in the race....

Men attacked the first woman to run in the race….

Good intentions, truth, what is right shines from within, and no amount of misguided thought can dim that light.

And it all could be so different if only Donald would leave his combatant life style behind and embrace his new-found success. He’s pushed through enough electoral votes to win the Presidency of the United States. Now is not the time for him to dice up the country as though he was engineering a hostile business merger-a take over.

The people surrounding Donald Trump aren’t helping him transition in a successful way.

Trump bites back when he needs to cajole his opponents, not contest them. Trump  needs to persuade, not invade other people’s ideas. When he needs to inveigle people, he enrages them.  For every wheedle he should make, he needles the point instead and makes people sore. Where he should coax, he’s a backwash of shellac; a call for charm seems to prompt him to cause harm, to be verbally abusive, almost child-like, a school yard bully in uppity clothes.

Why? Why can’t Trump relax in his new skin and put on the cloak of negotiation?

Trump needs to wear a new set of clothes.

Effective methods used to gather America’s greatest thinkers and politicians alike would yield Trump real power. If I learned one thing from being a head negotiator for a powerful union it is this: true power does not come from discord, but from keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.*

Someone in the know, for Trump’s sake, for America’s sake , needs to talk to the new President elect and make him see the world in a different light-turn on the light  so to speak.

Someone has to pull this switch, and change Trump.

Someone has to pull this switch, and change Trump.

Trump needs to change if he is to become a successful President.  No one can bankrupt a country and enrage the world and walk away with the profits.

Trump's banging himself over the head with his own words.

Trump’s banging himself over the head with his own words; he won’t cash in.

Trump can change. It’s never too late to change. Thing is, Trump has to change.

The world can only hope. For more on this, here’s  a link to an article that says this all better than I could hope to.

Really.

I was driving home from work tonight and if I’d remembered to pick up my pants at the dry cleaners I wouldn’t have been in an accident. Thing is, I forgot, and I was.

How it all happened is clear as a bell in my head that is still ringing as I write this….now under Ibuprofen and a beer. My back also is recalling the accident with painful precision. I was on a busy four lane road, East University, the same one I take every night as I head home from work. It’d been a busy day at work..a puppet show day with two performances that were a kick to do, and tiring.

I stopped behind a Chevy Silverado that  had stopped to allow a pedestrian to cross the entrance to an Autozone store. I had a few seconds to observe the girl as she walked toward my car on her way across the entrance.

Wham!!! I got rear ended  by a car that hadn’t been behind me to my notion. It was a brutal impact; I was thrown forward and then violently back and then again before a second had eclipsed. Next,  I griped the steering wheel and pulled hard left to try to avoid hitting the truck in front of me as my vehicle was propelled forward by the car that had hit me. My left front clipped his rear fender and I think I drifted along side the truck’s side and went on until I finally came to a stop. In all, I must have been pushed forty feet.

It was shocking; at first I tried to assess if my neck was hurt…but I seemed okay. I got out in about  three minutes,,,stumbling a bit, and made my way to a driver who said “I was scratching my leg, so I didn’t see you.”

Thankful to be alive, I spoke with the driver of the Silverado who said, “I’m okay,” the man shook my hand.

I’ve no idea why it took the police over fifteen minutes to show up-it seems I see them everywhere as I travel this same route morning and night to and from work. I used the time to call Tina, a good friend-I couldn’t reach my wife- and then triple A and my insurance company. Of course, the woman who rear ended me was ticketed…careless driving…but I’ve got to tell you, the whole time we were waiting for the police to show up the woman who hit me was texting….and I’d bet anything she was texting when she hit me as well. Like I say, I was stopped behind the Silverado for at least a few seconds, long enough for any driver paying attention to stop  before hitting me, and I just don’t buy-scratching my leg? WTH? So you’re driving and then look down to scratch your leg–no, I don’t think so…you simply scratch what itches…no one has to watch that action.

So, maybe I’m sensitive since I never text-can’t even do it- but I suspect the action nearly cost me my life. BTW, my life is very important to me, more important-I would hope than someone’s text.

It’s all very disconcerting. All the immediate plans I have for the upcoming few days, not to mention the rest of my days here, could have been snuffed out in that instant. I know that’s true. It  feels as though I’d taken a step off a four thousand foot cliff but somehow landed in a safety net.

There are details to work out; insurance to hassle and then there’s a new car to buy. Dang it. I’d hope my 97 Toyota Corolla would go on forever…but it’s a dead goose now. Banged front to back, and all alone a side, the car I’d bought for my oldest daughter to get through college, and then bought back from her while she worked in Japan, has taken a hit for me. I loved this car..sturdy(thank God)and just ongoing…it was a gem.

Mostly, I’m glad to be writing this glob maybe more than any other one I’ve written. BTW this is my 501st blog/glob…and this blog site has been read during 2016 in 83 different countries so far! It all started back in 2009. Last year I had readers in 53 countries so the trend is up! I’m lovin’ it, and tonight I’m lovin’ life more than most nights. It’s so nice of you to be reading-thanks! There’s nothing like a close call with serious or fatal injury to bring it all home.

Life is like nothing else we know.

Dang; texting and driving-don’t do it.

It’s too late for Trump to shut his barn door mouth…..

Trump paying 25 million to escape(settle) charges on Fraud is not a little or insignificant thing….the BS that Trump’s too busy to fight this charge is a load of crap-you know it, I know it, and all his supporters know it…The entire world knows it. His supporters should care. Just how many times has he paid to escape rape charges? This is disgusting…and having to sleep in the White House is all too much for him to handle? There’s his respect for American history and to his electors! White House be dammed! That’s his motto.* His disdain for the White House quarters speaks to his true lack of interest and commitment to America. Zip, zero, the man couldn’t care less about past Presidents and that he’s about to be one. Come on electorate,…jack these donkeys —Pence is a madman, but he might at least have the dignity to stay in the most hallowed house in our land. It’s the White House for goodness sake! The man and his wife are worse than crazy-they have no empathy, no feeling for this great land and it’s people. None.

Trump is a mad man who’s appointments mirrors his insanity.  My entire life fighting to save our natural resources and  environment are in the balance, in this man’s hands who couldn’t care one iota for the Earth, not to mention people.

Oh, and the great save America money President is gonna cost us  one million dollars per day at Trump Towers to protect his wife while charging us, the tax payers. one and one half million dollars per year for the secret service to rent a floor in the same building?

Trump: Screw and worse you, but in other words that are not so offensive to the middle class you are working over as you laugh through your champagne.

Your wife makes a nice pin-up naked model I suppose,,but she hasn’t got a lick of sense… she’s a numb nut who copied Michelle’s Obama’s speech for her own… how dumb is that? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/video/2016/jul/19/compare-melania-trumps-speech-with-michelle-obamas-2008-address-video

When will people care that Trump and his wife are phonies? Complete liars, fakes, fools?

You know what? My Republican friends, you have crossed the line of reason every time you say, “Wait and see.” Or, “It might not be so bad.”

Bull dung extremists, KKK, radical right, so-called centralist’s, crusading evangelists and  whack jobs-we don’t have to wait to see what a disaster you have elected as President===this man is a lunatic…and you know It! This election is the most disgusting turn of events I’ve ever seen in America…

Few claimed to have liked hearing Trump say that when it comes to women, “I grab them by the pus?y.” Thing is, without any checks and balances left in the Congress, Trump’s got us by the ‘balls,’ too.

Dump Trump,,,then can Pence. America and the World can only hope.

*To be fair, some of this post was written a few weeks ago, and Trump may have since softened on the idea of at least occasionally gracing our White House with his presence. Imagine: an American President who stays in the White House! Since when has that happened?

I’ve seen the rain in Africa, once in Johannesburg. Now, I only see it thru my wife’s FB messages-she’s spending some time there with our daughter and her new-born boy. A lot of my heart is in Africa, not just because I have family there but the truth is I’ve always been fascinated by the animals of Africa. How different! And then there was the constant noise I heard in grade school that we all came from Africa.

turning the world, maybe right-side up?!

Turning the world, maybe right-side up?! Say what?

You know, as a kid, I always assumed what I was taught in school was basically true. I was never a doubting Gerald. No, give me the facts and I’d write them down for test grades, then I’d go play ball free from the confines of those four walls and imposing blackboards…

Thing is, it turns out some of what I was told about Africa wasn’t true. I remember twirling globes to look at our world; that was the real deal. Actually, not so much. The picture of our world and it’s continents is really a product more of fancy, preference or economic goals than a semblance of fact.  Forget about the size of elephant’s ears; have you ever seen the size of the continent? Maybe not.

Time to listen up--Africa is way larger in comparison to other continents than we ever see it as drawn on any map....

Time to listen up–Africa is way larger in comparison to other continents than it is ever drawn on almost any map….It’s scaled down to fit what?

The bottom line on Africa is simple-calling it gigantic, colossal, bigger than huge, behemoth, gargantuan, elephantine, monumentally mammoth, prodigious or Brobdingnagian would all be insults to its true size.  Basically, you can fit many of the world’s countries inside the size of Africa and still have room to squeeze in most of your dreams comfortably.893ff7359157d3832529bc47799e8854
Example=
See? That’s American and China, oh yes India, and few random handful of European countries, hello Spain! all fitting within the one continent…. hmmm…
Example number two=

On a typical world map, Canada is  vast, a huge land area that covers a large part of the northern half of the globe. But, three Canada’s would comfortably fit inside Africa??? In our world’s nut shell— the world maps we see or the globes we spin are misleading. I read the Geert De Kremer may be the one responsible for the twisted geography we all memorized to pass tests….about a zillion years ago this European cartographer drew Africa  in scale to its importance at the time, not in proportion to any reality that involved the earth. Oddly, this misrepresentation has been happily recreated by globe manufactures and map makers ever since?!?!? Even today, google maps does no better,, ,and by the number of places google map’s bubble in Africa, you’d think most of the continent wasn’t there at all.

I've and idea! How about we makes maps and globes that represent the true size of all the continents!!! Just call me brilliant and puzzled....

I’ve and idea! How about we make maps and globes that represent the true size of all the continents!!! Just call me brilliant and puzzled….It all seems so twisted.

Here’s another quote I found who knows where….
“The 1569 Mercator projection was made for navigating the seas — drawing the meridians and parallels as straight lines that cross at right angles helped sailors to navigate some of the their first treacherous voyages around the world. Mercator initially made globes. Later transferring his map from a three-dimensional curved surface to a flat sheet of paper was problematic. Taking the equator as the logical map center left big, confusing gaps near the poles. Mercator’s solution was to stretch out the northern and southern extremities of the globe to fill those gaps, producing an elegant and usable map. While a revolutionary tool for captains and explorers, the projection distorts the relative size of the continents, to the advantage of the West. The repercussions of this are still being felt today.”
Yes, but I’ve a question- did this down play of the continent’s size also go hand-in-hand with people’s prejudices? I think so—and it is all so amazing. I read one article that expressed how different the world might be seen(and be) if map makers admitted they’d no idea what’s up or down when it comes to our universe and had drawn the world with Africa on top!

Now, as the world spins, Africa’s true worth in terms of today’s dollars is coming to light. The powerful countries all jockey  for position hoping to tap into this amazing continent’s wealth….one map is worth a thousand words…

Oh,,, China, Russia and America all rush to Africa's shores

Oh,,, China, Russia and America rush to Africa’s shores

While the world moves in Africa’s direction my mind drifts there as well.  I loved visiting Johannesburg and will one day, with luck, get to Cape Town. These places are  found on a map, but they should be much easier to locate. The size of this place escapes description-the one we were never taught.

Life is bigger than any of us.

My foot falls beat a rhythm upon wet leaves strewn along the path, or through dusty sands dried by a rain-less week. Wind rattles leaves as though chimes hang from every branch; the Florida panther, Jaguarundi, bison, wild horse, fearsome gator and grunting bore live nearby. The massive Pileated Woodpecker laughs from high above as the mid-size tanager hangs perpendicular from a massive oak trunk, its expansive call echoing through the woodland. Nature’s music owns the air.

The long-eared owl silently watches, its large eyes blinking, it’s head swiveling left and right. This is no time to feel alone, but a great moment for recalling the past and looking ahead to the future while so intensely immersed in the present. Time ticks on another clock, not here with the scurrying ants, buzzing insects, the birds, trees, land and running rabbits.

This moment owns forever.

There’s a bluff that Chief Micanopy had walked so long ago, before he was overcome, conquered. The prairie below this bluff, now an expansive grassland traversed by creeks and dotted by ponds, had once been a sizable lake crossed only by boat, and then prairie once again, or rain flooded marsh; change the only constant. In this order, the majestic clouds, or severe blue skies, the morning mists full of rainbows and ever vast starlit sky follow along with the prairie as calendar pages turn, as the years pass. The changes come year in, year out, life moving forward or gone.

It seems the true measure of a person may be the shadow they leave behind, one they’ll never see.

The shadow we make lingers, stretches, expands through others that follow our lifetime. The winds will always blow-the sailor knows this as sure as the winged will balance by claw and the black bear smell a man’s breath from twenty miles off. Nature has its way of surviving. The true nature of us will survive, too. A life lived full of good intention will be a peaceful memory as all of us take a last breath, a last look around, and then say goodbye to all of it, the hurry, bustle, stress, the appointments we’ve kept and those we’ve missed. In the end, I’m certain what we have most is who we have really been. As true as the wind blows, that truth will rush through our senses with an undeniable rigidity in our last moments.

This is why I walk. I want to think about who I am, and what I’ve really done. Life is long, but never long enough-ends will be left hanging, but that doesn’t mean there could ever be a turn-down day, a reason to lose focus, to give up. Somehow, I feel the life around me, us, is always calling for us as a society to do better, to make the ends meet, and to find peace with our place on the planet.

I think of Isis, and how in my mind’s eye I’d like to hug each member and tell them I feel their pain, but it’d be foolish not to realize those same people would cut my head off. The world faces a difficult, blood soaked time ahead, but has it ever been any different? So many more civilians were killed in WWII than were soldiers, and when we speak of the deaths, we seldom think of the wounded, the transformed forever by the blasts of war, the loss of limb, or parents or siblings. My feet hit the earth as if each one is recording a massacre of life that has happened in our history on the planet.

That’s when the owl in all its wisdom hoots. How? Why? What is all this for? Walking-

Even the sperm race to battle and penetrate the egg. Is life then just a battle from its beginning, one we are meant to endure? Of course, I don’t know. I only know I love the woods, the life it holds, the life I see around me, and I want the killing to stop.

You know the type- the annoying workmate that smiles even in the morning, lends you two helping hands when all you asked for was one, continually makes the day better and makes you forget you wish it were over. I’m surrounded by the type-turkey’s every one of them.12279013_10208140762667012_8713307563898335197_n (1)

http://www.aclib.us/headquarters(link-a-dink to the Alachua County Library district.)The main, Headquarter’s branch is a big deal building, housing over 250,000 items, visited by 3,000 people on a slow day and checking out over 1 million items per year.

Sometimes, I just have to put one foot in front of the other and drag myself in to work with our rafter of Youth Service people. Imagine the whole flock being made up of people who like to help others on a daily basis, and it only gets worse. These liberrians( from the often used pronunciation, most seem to think we grow on trees.) like to share information, read, laugh, smile-never yell-stay pleasant, think proactively, design endless displays, tell stories during elaborate story hours presented throughout the county, and they like to nibble. Real Gobblers this group. In fact, I think we should call one table inside our office the official, Nibble Table-wait, the entire office-The Nibble Office. Better. In all, it’s a disgusting display of happiness around here-a nightmare montage of good feelings I must navigate through every working hour!

This is giving me an idea…..

images (23) Ya know how we have all those happy days like Thanksgiving, the Holidays(code for Christmas) Thank God for Parents day(wait-do we have one of these?) Anyway….what we need around here is an official crappy day -a cathartic day of the year, one left open for only complaints, grips, groans, pukey ideas, grumbling and saying what’s on our mind day. We could call it, The Colossal Crappy Day. But why stop at one, when we could have, say,,, four a year?!?!?!

Right now,  what’s amazing is that this post has nothing in it that even closely resembles what I meant to write about. No, this post is about the Library building I put on display, how much awful fun it was creating, and how many patrons regrettably enjoy it.12195848_1049487265082047_5704119365050262721_n

So yeah, it’s like a doll house, you can even find stacks of books and stuff by looking into the side windows or into the second story window.12191492_1049487311748709_2641903970150508098_n

I’m using the bright reflective neon paper that’s attached to the backside of the trees to get the added fall reflection look.

Have trees, have squirrels*(God’s motto.)…Well,  one thing’s certain-this squirrel’s not the only one who has a bunch of nuts around him.

I ask you! Who are these people!

And my director(she’s really my supervisor, but, shhh, don’t mention that to her) keeps thinking of more to do, more to eat and stuff.1965012_786280751406619_7639099478551129472_n

She keeps an eye on me.

And really, all the gals I work with wear a bunch of hats on a daily basis- it’s that do this, do that, get stuff done attitude they all don that screws up many perfectly good, non-productive days.

11111600_10207006062780224_3249618924229311604_n

Personally, I have to ask, why so many hats? It’s only one job!?!?!

securedownload (8)

I’m your basic one hat sort of guy, period. (Pay no attention to the stuffed animals, puppets, clown shoes, tinsel or that other hat on my desk.)

securedownload-7 (1)

Okay, also pay no attention to maybe a second hat, or four, or the Grinch, the moose, the royal carriage, and the winged Pegasus you can’t see to boot. There, that’s as far as I take it-the rest is all hard work; end of story-sorta. Let the others do all the miserable laughing.

Merry Thanksgiving anyway, and enjoy the turkey’s-I do.

The Isis and other extremists may be shifting world power, but not in their direction. No, it’s the Russians who are emerging center stage, not just in the Middle East, but on a world-wide front.

Putin has shown his ability to lead his army in the direction he chooses-Detente be damned-he flips the switch and the bombs fall.

bomb-2_3459908bThis picture is captioned: Russians bomb US-backed Syrian rebels.

So yeah, while America remains grid locked on who to blame for just about anything that’s ever happened in our country or elsewhere, Russia has its eye and muscle on its soft southern underbelly, where newly formed countries feature large Muslim population. As a well read, knowledgeable, and longtime friend wrote- “Putin has many dogs in this fight.  14% or so of Russians are Muslims and some, like the radicals in Chechnya, are already terrorists. The vast majority of Central Asia is Muslim.  This includes the so called independent republics of the former Soviet Union like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. “ *

Russia’s southern frontier and even it’s internal populations have large Muslim populations, and Russia intends to rule these populations with an iron fist without apology.

It's another no brainer.....a hoax head's up!

It’s another no brainer…..a hoax head’s up!……

There is currently a huge hoax e-mail circulating among FB and other sites that fictitiously put very harsh words in the Russian President’s mouth , words that pertain to immigration into Russia…forget those posting….those are bogus.

Still…

Putin clearly drew a line in the sand for Muslim populations and other minorities back in 2012…

“On the whole, the adaptation of guest workers is a separate and comprehensive issue. We must create the conditions for immigrants to normally integrate into our society, learn Russian and, of course, respect our culture and traditions and abide by Russian law. In this regard, I believe that the decision to make learning the Russian language compulsory and administer exams is well grounded. To do so, we will need to carry out major organizational work and introduce corresponding legislative amendments. I’d like to ask the Federal Migration Service and other departments to submit specific proposals to the government. These proposals should be openly discussed with ethnic minorities as well as public and religious organizations. This should be mandatory for all guest workers regardless of their future employment.” Putin 2012.

See, Putin’s words don’t exactly throw a warm blanket on the opportunity for immigration into Russia.

No, the Russian stance on immigration into their country reads more like, my way or the highway.

I find myself wondering how the French are feeling about immigration right about now. In America, for sure, we have trucks, planes and ship loads of people who hope to build fences high enough to keep Mexican’s out, and think Muslim is short hand for hooligans, murders and religious fanaticism.

What to do in a world seemingly gone mad? Russia has answered the bell, and may not stop fighting until the entire Middle East is riddled with pot holes the size of bomb blasts. Remember also, Russia has a 1980 score to even in Afghanistan.

President Obama has done an about face on his, “No Boots on the ground,” philosophy toward conflict in the Middle East, but the forces he can command through the America people are minuscule in comparison to the turmoil he hopes to quell. Russia, on the other hand, is willing to bomb the piss out of anyone in the region, and maybe beyond.

In my mind, two scary prospects are building in the Middle East at this time. One, Putin is equipped and well-disposed to take the lead in the fight against terrorism in The Middle East; Two, Halliburton has been pushing the US to safe guard its oil resources located in the Middle East, and all of its future pipeline construction plans.** Is it possible that this money driven world power-Halliburton- might get in bed with another country if America proves too ineffective at maintaining peace so it can go about business as usual? It’s a thought, and maybe you think this idea an impossibility, but Halliburton has never been about America, only about using our country’s troops to build and safe guard its fortunes.

In the end, maybe never soon enough, it does seem America and the world will have to stop talking about terrorism and flat out fight it, house to house, passport to passport, and wiretap to outer space eavesdropping. Russia already has. Terrorism is not a game, but there’s a saying- follow the leader.

Some would say we can educate and feed the Terrorists organizations out of desperate acts and into prosperity. That is certainly taking the high road, and the very long road with regard to the situation. For now it seems the world can’t effectively keep the terrorist out of our places of worship, living and businesses. What to do? Russia will drop bombs-more.
